Hmm, Character Art.

So, I'm thinking about actually drawing a few things here and there. Notice : I will not be drawing for artistic blow-your-mindedness. Mostly I want to convey an Idea. Before I actually do that, I wanted to show some visions from my head. Its ok, you can look, my head is part of the Creative Commons.

This guy has lived in my head for a while, and his persona is much more deep than his purple face conveys.

Notice: Yeah, I did take lessons from Shel Silverstien, and then I was like nah, I am going to just dumb it down so there is no detail. I promise this will get better as I go along.  Again, I just wanted to introduce some stuff. These characters have mostly come about from doodling during math classes and especially boring lectures.  I do that a lot.

A Mid-day Encounter with the Philistine

So, I wrote a poem, as an avenue to release an immense amount of anger. I usually don't show these to anyone, which is why no one knows that I write poetry. It isn’t necessarily one of my strengths, but I figure I would put it out there for people to see.

Anywho, enjoy.

A Mid-day Encounter with the Philistine
Not withstanding the moral judgment in your voice,
I'd say your statement was more than off-point.
I am not a "Filthy Socialist" as you claim,
and who really is the dirtier between us?

Your speaking, eloquent and asinine,
did not change my mind,
nor will I concede to your's,
rather, I am my own man.

Woefully, I trudged along next to you,
ardently, you professed your knowledge,
scarcely, I acknowledged your existence,
rather, I decided you died many moons ago.

I suppose you are still alive,
if only in body and being,
and certainly I can see you standing,
but what happened to your soul?

Cannon Eyes.

So yeah, I made another Comic! I'm like a real person now! Don't yell at me, I'm experimenting with new formats. I can't draw, so this is going to be the style for awhile. Deal with it with some good old fashioned Palin Joe Six-Packs. I here they are pretty cheap, and hell, it gets you drunk.

What am I even talking about?

Nothing interesting otherwise happening in my life. Stay strong my fellow Americans.
As usual, unless you are a falcon, click on it to view it in its amazing full resolution. download it even. put it on a billboard.

Oh, yeah, this thing.

Sorry, with school starting and all, this definitely took the back seat.

Anywho, I've been writing a lot, and I plan on having a self published short story out by January 2009, based on my current idea, The Late Shift.

So, for any of those of you who care, I planned on giving you a little excerpt.

I wake up the next morning and investigate my wounds. Surprisingly enough, there aren't any traces of them. Forget worrying about it, I need to brush my teeth.
We wake up every morning and polish the god given set of weapons we have in our mouth, and our society wonders why we kill each other. We are born with a mouthful of weapons, in this war of worlds, of world views, of ideologies, of anger.
I stalked my way through the room, looking for my work clothes. I gazed out into the bright sunrise. Everything seemed so beautiful, so serene. God must have envisioned the world like this, right before Adam and Eve screwed him over. Just goes to show you can't trust anyone, not even the people you create from the dust.
I walk out onto my balcony and perch myself over my car. I could honestly just jump right now. What do I have to fear? Losing my Job? Maybe I could make it in through the Moon roof, maybe make it to work a little sooner.

So, again, its rough, but soon! Indeed it will be polished and it will be made fresh, much like the prince of bel air who shares such a likeness.

On the other hand, much to many a person's dismay, I like this guy and the things he says:

So yeah, check him out, because I like politics and such.

Anywho, I'll probably post something more interesting later on in the week, and mayhaps I'll have a comic soon, I have a pretty good working Idea that might be recieved better than my Ron Paul one. Mostly because this one actually makes sense to people other than me.

I wish I had something witty to say tonight, If I think of it I'll come back and type it up. For now I leave you to your devices.
Goodnight and Goodluck my fellow Americans.

Ron Paul Opens for Michael Jackson; Michael Phelps: Mutant?

Whew, I bet that title is going to be confusing.
I'm not sure if there are any big enough Michael Jackson fans that read this who will even get this, but here we go anyway:

Click on it to actually see the comic.

That's right, I called it a comic. I make a web comic. I've been wanting to do it this way for a while now, and low and behold, it comes. Hopefully I will either have a partner in crime, or he will have his own web comic sometime soon. I actually do attempt to draw freehand, and I might upload those attempts here and there.

So I feel excited, because a lot of people(relatively) have left comments on my blog, and I'm leaving comments on their blogs, and it seems like a big social do-hickey is evolving in our click. I have a really good idea for a Novella, not a long short story, because I am stuck up. Anywho, look for that on your cyber-shelves come whenever I actually have time to finish it.

Cyber-shelves sounds so naughty.

So, Michael Phelps(Olympic Swimmer, Broke record for most Gold Medals by an individual athlete) is kind of insane, and I don't think he is really a human. To prove this I went fact hunting on Wikipedia, which is the source of all truth. Low and behold, I find what I am looking for:
Physique and lifestyle

Phelps has a body particularly suited to swimming. He has a long, thin torso with arms which span 6 feet 7 inches (200 cm), disproportionate with his height of 6 feet 4 inches (190 cm). However, he has relatively short legs which reduce resistance through the water, but despite this he has size 14 feet (49.5 Europe) and double-jointed ankles. He can extend his ankle beyond the point of a ballet dancer which enables him to whip his feet for maximum thrust.

It goes on to say:
According to an article in The Guardian, Phelps eats around 12,000 calories each day, or about 6 times more than the average adult male.[14] Leslie Bonci, the University of Pittsburgh Director of Sports Nutrition, says that eating that many calories a day is "almost impossible".[15] She estimates that his intake is closer to 6,000 calories per day.

WHAT THE HELL? I don't care if he does eat 6,000 calories, where does he put it? What does he eat? Solid Lard?

I don't know if anyone has hummingbird feeders, but you should buy one, they are fun to watch.

The important part always ends up at the end, odd don't you think?

I suppose that asking for people to type in a manner that makes semi-sense is way toooooooooooooooooooooooooo much to expect from the internet.

Someone told me that "I am not sure dieing and working the night shift is the best compairicent....There just two really differnt type of thing." Oh well, I am being a snob.
Anywho, I haven't written anything fictional in a few days, mostly because the job search continues. I have, however, built a giant tower with the books that I can't fit on my shelf. It makes me happy and also scares the hell out of me. Its like having an enormous, heavy Jenga tower hovering behind you. It already fell down and made the pain on my fingers.

If anyone was wanting a good listen, you should check out the most recent offering from Sons and Daughters. This Gift has an amazing feeling to it, and if you like Girl in a Coma or the Strokes earlier stuff, you probably will enjoy this severely. The first track Gift Complex throws you head first into the mood of the album, and track 4, Rebel with the Ghost brings a feeling of life not seen felt since Ted Leo graced me with Me and Mia.

So go do something fruitful, go make someone smile, go dance and prance, go scream, stop somewhere odd on the street. Summer is almost over my friends, and what do you have to show for it? I would like to hear any awesome stories you may have. I would love to write something interesting about it. We don't have any other responsibilities in life more important than loving and showing others you can love, so lets just get that done with, and make the world a little better place in which to live.
